How To Make Bananas Ripen Faster

The produce store only had green bananas huh?  It has happened to all of us.  Unlike most people think, you do not have to wait four or five days for the bananas to ripen.  You can speed up the process using the methods listed below.

  •  Place a single banana in a brown lunch bag.  It should ripen in about a day.
  •  Place a banana in a brown lunch bag with an apple.  The gases released by the apple will cause the banana to ripen  faster.
